The firm is based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey in the tri-state metro Philadelphia area and serves individuals and businesses nationwide.

How We Got Started

David Heier, Richard Weisbrot and Sidney Bernstein began their careers at Laventhol & Horwath (“L&H”). L&H was a high quality International CPA firm, which at that time was the 9th largest accounting firm in the United States. David, Rich and Sid took the knowledge and experience they each acquired at L&H and have continued to work in the accounting industry for over 30 years each.

After L&H, David left public accounting for a career as a Chief Financial Officer for a Philadelphia based wholesale distributor and simultaneously developed an ever expanding accounting practice. Rich became a partner in regional CPA firm and upon sale of the practice to an international CPA firm, continued to work for the successor firm. Sid has worked with various regional CPA firms in addition to practicing as a sole practitioner. David, Rich and Sid decided to merge their practices into Heier Weisbrot & Bernstein LLC. Combining their years of experience in similar and diverse areas of accounting and taxation, has proved to be a perfect blend of talent and professionalism.
